Christmas–New Year Reception Hosted by the Chief Minister

As part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan hosted a festive Christmas–New Year reception today at Hyatt Regency, Thiruvananthapuram. The event commenced at 12:00 noon and brought together prominent political leaders, religious heads, cultural icons, and public representatives, reflecting the spirit of unity and harmony.
Among those who attended were Govindan Master, State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist); Binoy Viswam, State Secretary of the Communist Party of India; Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran; Swami Gururethnam Jnana Tapaswi, General Secretary of Santhigiri Ashram; Dr. Gabriel Mar Gregorios, Metropolitan of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church; Cardinal Baselios Cleemis, Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church; Dr. V. P. Shuhaib Moulavi, Imam of Palayam Juma Masjid; Vellappally Natesan; A. N. Shamseer, Speaker of the Kerala Legislative Assembly; and noted filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan, among many others.
